The crystal cortisone continues to have an effect for several weeks after the injection, which is why the final result is visible after 3-6 weeks. The effect of a nasal injection with hyaluronic acid lasts for around 12 months. The treatment can then be repeated to maintain the effect. If nasal injections are carried out twice in succession within a period of twelve months, the filling effect accumulates and the result can last for several years.
Rhinoplasty surgery is performed under general anesthesia in a private clinic. The nose is surgically corrected using the latest techniques. After the nose operation, you will need to wear a splint for two weeks and rest for three weeks. The result of the operation is permanent. Nose injections are performed on an outpatient basis in our practice and take around 20 minutes to an hour. We inject hyaluronic acid above and below the nasal hump or into the hollow at the bridge of the nose. After rhinoplasty with hyaluronic acid, you are immediately socially acceptable and can go about your everyday life.
There is no general answer to this question. Nose injections are suitable for patients who only want minor changes and no permanent effect. With several applications, however, the filling effect of hyaluronic acid can last for several years. A surgical correction is a more fundamental and permanent correction of the nose, and you should be informed about the risks and possibilities.
