In brief: Our practice now has an annex in the heart of Frankfurt, on the Fressgasse at Große Bockenheimer Straße 43. The annex belongs to Berkei Plastic Surgery, headquartered at Goethestraße 25, and is just a few minutes' walk away, practically across the street. Your consultation, your injection treatment and your follow up appointments take place there from now on. Surgery continues to take place at the Berger Klinik under general anaesthesia. Goethestraße 25 remains our main practice and home to our administration. We still offer appointments there for patients who would like particular privacy, and for selected minor procedures by arrangement.

Our phone number, email address, team and online booking stay the same. If you were last with us three years ago and are coming back now, you will notice that you are in the right place by everything except the house number.

And because the question is bound to come up: we have not moved. We have gained space. Both addresses remain, they simply have different roles. What that means for you is explained further down.

Why we chose the Fressgasse

We have grown

Our team has become larger over the past years, and so has the number of treatments. At some point, rearranging furniture no longer helps. We wanted a place where several consultations can run in parallel without anyone in the waiting area overhearing, and where nobody has to rush between two appointments.

The location

The Fressgasse is one of the best known addresses in Frankfurt, within walking distance of much of the city centre and well connected by public transport. If you are coming for an appointment in your lunch break, that is a difference you will notice.

From an empty space to our annex

What we took over was not a finished practice but an empty space. The rest was weeks of floor plans, sample tiles on the kitchen table and that special kind of phone call in which the words delivery time come up more often than anyone would like.

In the middle of it all, Julia once let her phone camera run while not a single room was finished yet. So you can see where all of this started.

Today there is nothing left of that. How it looks now, we show you further down.

What mattered to us during the build

Three things were clear from the very beginning.

Light. Large windows face the Fressgasse, and the floor plan is laid out so that daylight reaches the place where you sit. If you are asked to judge your own face, you should not have to do it under a ceiling light that flattens everything.

Discretion. Consultation and treatment rooms are kept separate. You will not hear what is being discussed next door, and nobody will hear what you discuss with us.

Short distances. It is only a few steps from your arrival to the consultation room. After a treatment you do not have to walk back through half of the reception area.

A short tour, room by room.

The reception

The first room you enter. This is where you check in, where you get something to drink and where you wait if it takes a few minutes. We deliberately planned more space than before, so that waiting does not mean sitting shoulder to shoulder with strangers.

The consultation room

The most important room in the annex. This is where you sit at a table with Julia or one of her colleagues, where we look together at the screen at what it is all about, and where you also get the uncomfortable answers. We do not believe in selling anyone a procedure that will not help them.

The treatment rooms

This is where injection treatments and other non surgical treatments take place, and where you come for your follow up after an operation. Everything on one level, everything with the same team.

Treatments without surgery

Where do you offer wrinkle injections in Frankfurt? On the Fressgasse. Injection treatments, infusions and everything around anti ageing take place entirely in the practice, and as a rule you are back on the street afterwards without anyone noticing.

Men

The share of male patients has been growing for years. You can find what is available under treatments for men. These consultations also take place on the Fressgasse, and the waiting area is large enough that nobody has to sit next to anyone if they would rather not.

Surgery at the Berger Klinik

Operations do not take place in the practice but at the Berger Klinik, under general anaesthesia and with an anaesthesia team. For you this means: consultation on the Fressgasse, surgery at the Berger Klinik, follow up back on the Fressgasse.

Good to know: the annex on the Fressgasse is not step free, there is no lift. If you need step free access, your entire appointment takes place at our main practice on Goethestraße.

Main practice at Goethestraße 25: appointments on request

Goethestraße 25 remains our main practice. Our administration is based there, and on request we offer appointments there for patients to whom particular privacy is important, as well as selected minor procedures. From the front door onwards, Goethestraße is fully step free. There is currently a construction site directly in front of the building, so at the moment we cannot confirm step free access from the pavement to the entrance. If you rely on step free access, your consultation, treatment and follow up all take place there. Feel free to call us beforehand and we will talk through the best way for you to reach the front door. There are no regular consulting hours for patients there, we arrange these appointments individually with you.

Important for you: these appointments do not happen automatically. We will name the address to you explicitly when we arrange the appointment together, and it will then be stated in your appointment confirmation. Without this explicit arrangement your appointment is on the Fressgasse, and nobody will be waiting for you at Goethestraße.

If privacy matters to you, just let us know when you book. We will be the last to find that unusual.

How to find us on the Fressgasse

The entrance

The patient entrance is on the Fressgasse side. If you are coming for the first time, please allow one or two extra minutes and take a look at the photo of the door beforehand, so you do not walk past it.

If you end up at Goethestraße

It happens, especially if your navigation app still has the address of our main practice saved. From Goethestraße 25 it is about a five minute walk. If you are unsure, give us a call and we will guide you.

Frequently asked questions about our annex on the Fressgasse

Is it Fressgass or Fressgasse?

Both are correct. The official street name is Große Bockenheimer Straße. Fressgass and Fressgasse are the local Frankfurt names for it. We say Fressgasse.

Is the annex finished?

Yes. The video further up was filmed during construction and shows how it looked before. Reception, consultation rooms and treatment rooms are finished and in use.

Have you moved?

No. Goethestraße remains our main practice, and the annex on the Fressgasse has been added. From now on your appointment is on the Fressgasse, unless we have agreed otherwise.

Where exactly is the entrance?

On the Fressgasse side. You will find a photo of the door further up and in your appointment confirmation.

Has the phone number changed?

Do I need to rebook my existing appointment?

No. All appointments remain valid, only the place is now the Fressgasse.

Unfortunately not, there is no lift. Our main practice on Goethestraße is fully step free from the front door onwards. Your consultation, treatment and follow up will then all take place at Goethestraße, and we will talk through with you the best way to reach the front door.
